Who Eats Who? - A Food Web

This is a foodweb that I made in college. You can see who eats who by starting with the sun and following the outward lines through plants, primary consumers, secondary consumers, and tertiary consumers (Lions, tigers, bears, and us!) on the outer rings.  (Click the map to enlarge)

  4. This is amazing!
You actually design all of these? Must be a lot of effort.

  5. This was so good, Julian. You should make a whole book out of this, not just a poster.

  6. Julian, definitely pursue turning this into a book/poster. I wonder if there's an educational tools company that could help.

  7. I was thinking that I could get them printed somewhere and sell them through an online shop. I'm slowly thinking up a book idea, too.

  8. Hi Julian...congrats for your brilliant contribution! By the way, I´m preparing something related with environmental impact assessment and would like to link stakeholders in a similar way. Have you done this through a custom software or code scripts?

    All the best,

  11. Namaste Julian,
We will organize a (free) event in Nepal about wildlife conservation, and I was wondering if we could use your food web? It's an amazing work! Thank you in advance!

  12. I'm another who would like to use your work in an educational context. Have you gotten it printed yet? One option would be to load it up to spoonflower.com which prints fabric and wallpaper, and let people order it when they want it. No cost to you, but you'd get paid something every time someone orders it.

  20. Great diagram. I would love to be able to click on an element in your food web and see who is connected to it, both up and down the food web.
